My mom (Billie Blair, aka witch1-2-3) got this recipe from her friend Jackie Hoover back in the 70's. It comes together so easy and you can use any fruit you have on hand. Number Of Ingredients 7

1 stick butter
1 c flour
1 c sugar
2 tsp baking powder
pinch salt
3/4 c milk
2 c fruit (your choice)...today i used my own home canned apricots

Steps:

  • 1. Melt one stick of butter in a 350 degree oven in a 9x13 baking pan that has been coated with butter or nonstick spray
  • 2. Mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, milk and salt.
  • 3. When butter has melted, pour the batter over the melted butter.
  • 4. Spoon fruit of choice on top of batter. Cherry pie filling is excellent as is blueberries or peaches or a combination of whatever you like. Canned peaches with French Vanilla Ice Cream is to die for.
