MOM'S MACARONI & CHEESE image

Number Of Ingredients 7

8oz elbow macaroni, cooked, rinsed, cooled
1/2 lbs grated cheddar (extra sharp)
1/2 onion, minced
2 eggs
milk
salt, pepper, paprika
Bread crumbs

Steps:

  • Grease casserole dish. Preheat oven to 400. Sautee onion, stir into macaroni. In a casserole dish, layer macaroni with cheese, ending with a top layer of cheese. Beat eggs and add milk to make around 1 cup. Add salt, pepper, paprika to egg/milk mixture. Pour over casserole so that it is just barely visible along edge of dish. Top with extra grated cheese and bread crumbs. Bake at 400 for 20 minutes, until top is lightly browned.
