Moms Chicken and Rice Casserole image

I dont know where my mom got this recipe from but this is how she made this when I was growing up.

Number Of Ingredients 10

1 pkg frozen chopped broccoli
1 1/2 c rice
2 c cooked chicken
1/2 tsp curry powder
1 c shredded cheddar cheese (or any type you like)
1 can(s) sliced mushrooms (small)
1 can(s) cream of celery soup (or you can use 1 cup of hellmans mayo)
1 can(s) cream of mushroom soup
2 tsp yellow mustard
1/4 c grated parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • 1. Cook rice according to package. Add broccoli to your rice right before the rice is done.
  • 2. Except for the parmesan cheese, mix all the other ingredients together and put into a 9x13 baking dish.
  • 3. Sprinkle the parmesan cheese over the top and bake at 350 degrees for about 1 hour.
