Mint Sauce image

Found this recipe on Saveur site. I love Mint Sauce with my lamb chops!! I'm going to have to stop buying it in the little jar...and try making it!! :)) Posted for 2005 Zaar World Tour.

Yield 1 1/4 cup

Number Of Ingredients 5

2 1/4 cups fresh mint leaves
1 tablespoon sugar
2 pinches salt
1/4 cup boiling water
1 cup white vinegar

Steps:

  • Finely chop mint leaves, then put into a medium-size heatproof bowl. Add sugar and salt, then pour boiling water over mint, stirring until sugar and salt dissolve. Set aside to cool. Add white vinegar, cover, and set aside for 1 hour.
