Steps:
- Saute the ground beef until all pink disappears and meat is lightly browned. Drain well if any fat remains. Add envelope of dry onion soup mix and water. Simmer until moisture evaporates and onion soup is well mixed with ground beef. Remove from heat and add cheddar cheese. Work with one tube of crescent rolls at a time (leave remaining tubes in refrigerator). Unroll crescent rolls, cut each triangle into thirds lengthwise. Place one scant teaspoon of meat mixture on end of dough and roll to enclose meat mixture into dough. Seal edges well. Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 10 minutes or until lightly browned. May be frozen and heated as needed. Serve warm, but they are great at room temperature
