Mexican Chili image

This is our family Favorite! I can make this recipe by heart;it's that easy!!

Number Of Ingredients 11

2 pound(s) ground beef
1 large onion,chopped
1 package(s) taco seasoning mix
2 can(s) kidney beans,drained
2 can(s) tomato sauce
2 can(s) tomatoes, canned italian-style
3 clove(s) garlic,crushed
2 - cans water,
Hot Sauce - to personal taste
1/2 cup(s) yellow cornmeal,to thicken
- mexican blend shredded cheese

Steps:

  • In a Dutch Oven Or Large 2 handled pot,brown ground beef,onion and clove garlic in bottom of pot. DO NOT DRAIN FAT! Add all of the Taco Pkt. Stir to combined.
  • Add in Kidney Beans,Tomato Sauces,1/2c. cornmeal,water,and hot sauce to taste. Simmer for 20-25 min.,stirring occasionally! Add cheddar Cheese to to of top of each personal portioned bowl of Chili. Serve and Enjoy
