Meat Filling for Cannelloni image

Number Of Ingredients 9

2 ounces boneless pork loin, finely chopped (1/4 cup)
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
1/4 cup finely chopped boneless chicken breast
2/3 cup ricotta cheese
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons finely chopped mortadella
1 beaten egg yolk
1/8 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
1/8 teaspoon freshly ground nutmeg

Steps:

  • In skillet cook pork in butter about 3 to 4 minutes or till cooked through.
  • Add chicken. Cook and stir 3 minutes more.
  • In bowl combine meat mixture, ricotta, parmesan, mortadella, egg yolk, pepper, and nutmeg.
