Ah Really drunken noodles

SAUCE
1/2 cup(s) brown sugar
1/2 cup(s) soy sauce
1/4 cup(s) oyster sauce
3 tablespoon(s) maker's mark bourbon
1 tablespoon(s) mirin
4 clove(s) garlic minced
1 tablespoon(s) chili garlic sauce
NOODLES
3 boneless skinless chicken cut into cubes
2 teaspoon(s) sesame oil
1 bunch(es) scallion chopped white and dark green parts separated
1 tablespoon(s) ginger grated
1/2 bunch(es) baby broccoli trimmed
1 cup(s) shiitake mushroom sliced
1 cup(s) baby bella mushroom sliced
1/2 cup(s) thinly sliced carrots
1/4 cup(s) maker's mark bourbon
12 ounce(s) wide rice noodles

Steps:

  • Mix all the ingredients for the sauce together and set aside. Cook the noodles according to package directions drain and set aside.
  • Place the sesame oil in wok or large skillet. Add the chicken and cook until brown. Add the white and light green parts of the scallion, ginger, baby broccoli, and mushrooms. Stir fry until mushrooms are browned and broccoli softened. Add the carrots and whiskey and cook until whiskey has evaporated. Add the sauce and noodles. Cook until everything is warmed through.
  • Garnish with the dark green parts of the scallions
