Macaroni-Cheese Ring image

Number Of Ingredients 13

1 1/2 cups macaroni
2 quarts water
1 cup Cheddar cheese, diced
1 cup soft bread crumbs
1 tablespoon parsley
1/4 cup pimiento, minced
3 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon onion, minced
1 cup milk, scalded
2 eggs, well beaten
1 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
creamed fish steak, meat or vegetables

Steps:

  • Cook macaroni in water until tender drain. Combine with cheddar cheese, bread crumbs, parsley, pimiento, butter, onion, milk, eggs, salt and pepper. Pour into buttered ring mold and steam bake at 350°F for about 35 minutes. Unmold and fill center with creamed fish, meat or vegetables.
