Lynne's Southern Maryland Style Crab Dip image

Crab Dip is a Southern Maryland favorite. It is best when eaten hot as the cheesy crab meat is easy to scoop. Be sure to catch the drips! Number Of Ingredients 10

1 1/2 lb crab meat
16 oz cream cheese
8 oz plain greek yogurt
1 c mayonnaise
2 Tbsp dijon mustard
2 Tbsp tabasco sauce
2 Tbsp worcestershire sauce
2 Tbsp minced garlic
2 Tbsp old bay seasoning, divided
3 c mild cheddar cheese, shredded

Steps:

  • 1. Mix all ingredients except crab meat and cheese and 1 tablespoon of Old Bay Seasoning
  • 2. Fold in crab meat and 2 cups of cheese
  • 3. Pour into 10 X 10 baking pan
  • 4. Top with remaining cheese and Old Bay Seasoning.
  • 5. Bake at 375 degrees for about 30 minutes or until bubbly and slightly browned.
  • 6. Serve hot with warm baguette slices or crackers of choice.
