Steps:
- 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place 1/3 cup Smart balance butter in oven temp. bowl and place in oven. Wash drumsticks, drain, then in square, metal, non stick bake pan, arrange drumsticks together. Wash and dry hands for mixing of dry seasoning.
- 2. Mince garlic and onions, place aside. With tablespoon or brush, lightly brush melted butter on chicken, then pour honey over drumsticks. Sprinkle the onion and garlic mixture over honey- covered drumsticks.(honey holds onion/garlic on drumsticks while cooking.) Lightly sprinkle with Mrs. Dash Cook and serve with fresh boiled corn cob, candied yams and even a slice of fresh, homemade cornbread
- 3. I believe the chicken prepared this way adds 100 mg. of salt. Fresh and frozen vegetables have zero sodium, so having a slice of cornbread is a nice final touch. Finish with a big bowl of vanilla ice cream.
