Low Fat Chocolate Chip Cookies image

Cutting the fat can be tough if you like baked goods. This recipe will satisfy your sweet tooth,and cut the fat. 2 grams of fat and 75 calories per cookie. 12 Carbohydrates per cookie. They are lighter in flavor than the average Chocolate chip cookie,but very tasty as well. Enjoy with a nice cup of coffee or tea.

Number Of Ingredients 11

2 1/4 cup(s) all purpose flour
1 teaspoon(s) baking soda
1/2 teaspoon(s) salt
1/2 cup(s) granulated sugar
1/2 cup(s) packed light brown sugar
1/4 cup(s) butter softened
2 tablespoon(s) butter milk,or skim milk
1 teaspoon(s) vanilla extract
3 - egg whites
3/4 - cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup(s) walnuts optional ( fat will be higher if using,but healthy fat)

Steps:

  • heat oven to 375 degree's. Line a pan with parchment paper,or use cooking spray.
  • In a bowl combine the flour,salt,and baking soda,and Set aside.
  • In a large bowl mix the sugar,brown sugar together. Add the softened butter and combine well. Stir in the milk and vanilla.
  • Add the the egg whites and mix with a electric mixer until smooth. Add the flour mixture a little at a time. Stir well with spoon.
  • Add the chocolate chips,and walnuts if desired. Combine well. Drop by Tablespoons on to sheet pan.
  • Bake at 375 degree's for 10 minutes,or until lightly browned. Remove to wire rack,and cool. Enjoy
