LETTUCE WRAPS (RAW FOOD) image

Incorporating more raw vegetables into your diet is always a good idea and if you want a nice light meal that is easy to prepare, that is good for you and tastes delicious this would be the one I'd choose. It's not only nutritious but it's got a kick from the jalapeno pepper.

Number Of Ingredients 9

2 very ripe avocados
3 roma tomatoes, seeded and diced
1/2 jalapeno peppers
2 Tbsp sweet onion, diced
3 clove fresh garlic, minced
1/4 c fresh cilantro, chopped
1 10 oz. package froze corn, thawed
2 tsp fresh lime juice
6-8 roamine lettuce leaves

Steps:

  • 1. METHOD: In a medium bowl, mash the avocado.
  • 2. Add remaining ingredients and stir until well mixed.
  • 3. This is a very simple recipe and if you have kids, this would be a great recipe for them to help you with. You can add different ingredients to this if you like, the possibilities are endless. Enjoy!
