LENTIL SOUP WITH WINTER VEGETABLES image

1/2 pound bag red or yellow lentils
4 cups vegetable broth
2 parsnips
2 carrots
2 white onions
4 cloves garlic
4 small bluenose turnips
1/2 lb deli baked ham

Steps:

  • Put all ingredients in a soup kettle, bring to a boil, cover, and simmer for 1 hour
