LEMON SOUR CREAM PIE image

Yield 1 pie

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 cup sugar
1 1/4 cups heavy whipping cream
1/3 cup lemon juice
1/3+ cup cornstarch
4 beaten egg yolks
1 cup sour cream
One 9" pie shell
Additional whipped cream for topping

Steps:

  • Combine the sugar, whipping cream, lemon juice and cornstarch in a double boiler. cook until thick. Add the beaten egg yolk and cook two more minures. Remove from heat. Add sour cream. Fill pie shell and refrigerate for several hours, until set. Cover with whipped cream to taste.
