Lemon Cake image

I made this cake for the girls at my job. They loved it and asked me to make it on several occasions. One of my coworkers asked me to make it for her daughter and sons birthday because they liked it so much. It is very easy and very tasty!

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 box lemon cake mix
1 box lemon pudding mix
icing
3/4 c concentrated or fresh lemon juice
2 can(s) sweetened condensed milk
1 medium cool whip

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9x13 inch sheet cake pan with non-stick spray. Bake cake as directed, adding pudding mix, substitute oil with same amount of butter. Punch holes in cake. While cake is warm cover with the sweetened condensed milk and lemon mixture. Let cool completely then frost cake with the sweetened condensed milk/ lemon mixture with cool whip added.
  • 2. Filling and Icing: Mix sweetened condensed milk with 3/4 cup of lemon juice. Mix well. Spread half over cake while cake is warm. Mix the other half with cool whip and spread over completely cooled cake. Serve (Keep refrigerated)
