Steps:
- 1. Peel apples and cut into fry-like pieces - try and make them similar in size. 2. Place buttermilk, cornstarch, and cinnamon sugar in separate bowls. 3. Heat oil on stove top. 4. Dip an apple in the buttermilk, then cornstarch, and drop in oil. 5. Cook for a couple of minutes until brown. 6. Remove and place on a plate with a paper towel - let oil drain for about 30 seconds. 7. Roll in cinnamon sugar. 8. Serve with vanilla whipped cream or ice cream with cinnamon caramel sauce!
