Kenmare Smoked Salmon Spread image

I can't tell you how badly I hate fish. My idea of fish and chips is beer battered, tear off the tip and pour in the Malt Vinegar until full. Eat over Chips. This spread is really good. No kidding!

Number Of Ingredients 8

4 ounce(s) cream cheese, room temp
1/4 cup(s) sour cream
2 teaspoon(s) fresh lemon juice
2 teaspoon(s) minced dill weed
1/2 teaspoon(s) horseradish
1/4 teaspoon(s) sea salt
1/8 teaspoon(s) ground black pepper
1/4 pound(s) smoked salmon

Steps:

  • 1. Cream the cheese in an electric mixer fitted with a paddle attachment until just smooth.
  • Add the sour cream, lemon juice, dill, horseradish, salt, and pepper, give the mixer 3 or 4 quick pulses.
  • Chunk the salmon, pulse your mixer off and on until salmon breaks apart but you can still identify it.
  • Chill and serve with County Clare Oatcakes.
