KAHLUA HOT CHOCOLATE

Kahlua Hot Chocolate image

This is a delicious hot chocolate recipe. And with the addition of Kahlua, it's an adult-only beverage (not for kids).

Number Of Ingredients 9

Ingredients

2 c milk (i used 2%)
2 Tbsp granulated sugar
1 1/2 Tbsp dutch-process unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
1 pinch ground nutmeg
1 oz kahlua coffee liqueur
1 small handful miniature marshmallows, for serving
1 Tbsp caramel ice cream topping, for serving
1 Tbsp chocolate syrup, for serving

Steps:

1. In a medium saucepan, combine milk, sugar, cocoa powder, cinnamon and nutmeg over medium heat until heated through, about 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in coffee liqueur.
2. Top with mini marshmallows, and drizzle caramel topping and chocolate syrup over marshmallows, if desired.
3. Serve immediately.
