Kahlua Chili image

Number Of Ingredients 16

1/2 c vegetable oil
4 onions, chopped
4 garlic cloves, minced
4 lb ground beef
1 c green pepper, chunked
1 c kahlua
1/2 c chopped parsley
6 Tbsp chili powder
2 Tbsp tomato paste
4 tsp salt
2 tsp red cayenne pepper
2 tsp cumin powder
2 tsp dried marjoram, crushed
cheddar cheese, grated
onion, grated
chopped spaghetti, cooked

Steps:

  • 1. In large pot, heat oil.
  • 2. Add onions and garlic; saute until transparent.
  • 3. Add meat; brown.
  • 4. Add remaining ingredients except cheese and onions; mix well.
  • 5. Bring to boil.
  • 6. Reduce heat and simmer, partially covered, for 45 minutes.
  • 7. To serve, spoon chili on top of cooked, drained spaghetti in individual bowls and top with cheese and onions.
  • 8. Yields: 5 quarts.
