Japanese Rice Side Dish image

This is an easy side dish. I eat it often at my best friend's home. She does it with one pork chop, but I suppose you could use leftover turkey or whatever you want (even leaving out meat for vegetarian would be good).

Number Of Ingredients 7

1 cup instant rice
1/2 cup cooked pork, chops
1/2 cup green beans
2 scrambled eggs
1 dash soy sauce
1 tablespoon oil or 1 tablespoon margarine
1 cup chicken broth

Steps:

  • In medium skillet, brown rice in oil or oleo.
  • Add 1-cup chicken broth.
  • Cover; let stand 5 minutes.
  • Add green beans, scrambled egg and soy sauce.
  • Toss.
  • Put in bowl.
  • Add to table as a side dish.
