Italian-Style Meatloaf image

This is a meatloaf recipe that has a little Italian flare!

Number Of Ingredients 10

2 lb ground beef
2 eggs, beaten
3/4 c dry bread crumbs
1/4 c ketchup
1 tsp italian seasoning
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp dried basil
1 tsp garlic salt
1 (14.5) oz can italian-style diced tomatoes, drained
1 1/2 c shredded mozzarella cheese

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350 F.
  • 2. In a large bowl, mix together ground beef, eggs, bread crumbs and ketchup.
  • 3. Season with Italian seasoning, oregano, basil, garlic salt, diced tomatoes and cheese.
  • 4. Press into a 9 X 5-inch loaf pan and cover loosely with foil.
  • 5. Bake in preheated oven approximately 1 hour, or until internal temperature reaches 160 F.
