Italian-Style Frittata image

You say frittata; we say frittata, too. And when we say Italian-style, we mean it's made with hash brown potatoes and Italian-style cheese.

6 eggs
1 cup half-and-half
1/2 cup BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN Sour Cream
3 Tbsp. chopped fresh basil, divided
1/2 tsp. pepper
4 cups ORE-IDA Diced Hash Brown Potatoes
1 cup KRAFT Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
3 plum tomatoes, sliced
1/4 cup KRAFT Shredded Parmesan Cheese

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350°F.
  • Beat eggs, half-and-half, sour cream, 2 Tbsp. basil and pepper until blended.
  • Spread potatoes evenly onto bottom of 9-inch pie plate sprayed with cooking spray. Bake 20 min. Remove from oven; sprinkle with mozzarella. Top with tomatoes and Parmesan. Pour egg mixture over ingredients in pie plate.
  • Bake 40 to 45 min. or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Top with remaining basil.
