Italian meatball wellington image

My husband loves meatball subs, so I came up with this recipe to satisfy his craving

Number Of Ingredients 4

1 package(s) homestyle meatballs (thawed)
1 jar(s) of your favorite spagetti sauce
2 package(s) mozzarella cheese
1 package(s) filo dough

Steps:

  • thaw out the filo dough, and remove from the package, open the plastic bag, and unroll the dough. Follow the directions on the package to work with it
  • Layer your cheese, sauce, then meatballs, create another layer of cheese and sauce, then wrap with the filo dough. (on a baking sheet)
  • Bake as directed, until golden brown.
