Steps:
- Combine 1 Tbl. Italian seasoning, salt & pepper. Rub on all sides of chicken.
- Melt butter in saute pan or dutch oven on medium-high. Sear chicken in 2 batches until brown on all sides. Transfer to crock pot.
- Pour off all but 1 Tbl. of drippings. Add minced garlic and 1 Tbl Italian seasoning. Cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add wine, scraping brown bits and cook until reduced by half.
- Stir in broth and half & half. Heat to simmer. Add 1 cup Asiago cheese and cream cheese cubes, whisking until melted and thickened. Season if needed. Pour into crock pot.
- Cover and cook for 4-5 hours on low. Serve chicken over rice with sauce and remaining Asiago cheese.
