IRISH COFFEE AT THE SHANNON AIRPORT IN IRELAND
Since it's introduction at the Shannon Airport, in the late 70's this recipe has become an international favorite. It makes a VERY satisfying drink. How could they go wrong, using Irish whiskey!! Steps:
- 1. In a heated glass stir in the whiskey and the sugar. Pour in the hot coffee to within 1 inch from the top. Then top with the whipped cream. Do not stir. Makes 1 serving. Sorry about the picture...I had to install a new battery to my camera, and the whipped cream started to melt. It still tasted good! Sit back sip and enjoy!
