Number Of Ingredients 10

scant 1/2 c mayonnaise
1/4 tsp old bay seasoning
scant 1/8 tsp lawry's seasoned salt
1 tsp fresh minced dill weed
1 tsp minced shallot
1/2 Tbsp finely grated carrot (1 baby carrot)
1/2 Tbsp dill pickle, small dice
1/4 c celery, small dice
8 oz imitation crabmeat (surimi)
1 tsp drained capers

Steps:

  • 1. Gather and prep all ingredients.
  • 2. In a medium size bowl, mix together well, mayonnaise (I recommend Duke's brand,) Old Bay seasoning, Lawry's seasoned salt, dill weed, minced shallot and grated carrot.
  • 3. Add diced dill pickle and celery; mix well.
  • 4. Chop imitation crabmeat into small bite-size pieces (or shred if you prefer.)
  • 5. Add crabmeat to ingredients in bowl; mix well to combine.
  • 6. Add capers and gently fold into mixture. Cover and refrigerate until served.
