Ice Cream Sandwich Dessert image

This is a no brainer assembly and no bake dessert and it comes from Jody Koerber from Taste of Home mag. I wish I had thought of it first.

Number Of Ingredients 4

19 medium ice cream sandwiches (or enough to fit a 13x9 inch pan in 2 layers)
12 ounce(s) container whipped frozen topping, thawed
11 3/4 ounce(s) jar hot fudge ice cream topping
1 cup(s) salted peanuts

Steps:

  • Arrange a layer of ice cream sandwiches on the 9x13x2 pan, you will probably have to cut some of the ice cream sandwiches on the end to make them fit.
  • Spread with half the whipped topping, spoon fudge topping on whipped topping, sprinkle with 1/2 of the nuts.
  • repeat layer of ice cream sandwich, whipped topping, and rest of peanuts.
  • Freeze, then cover tightly and freeze for up to 2 months.
  • Remove from freezer 20 minutes before serving.
