Hungarian Goulash image

This Recipe is also from the Larkin Cook book. Again I will write it as told by the cook book.I remember my mom making these dishes when I was a kid. Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Number Of Ingredients 3

1 lb beef round steak
4 large onions, cut in small pieces
4 large potatoes, cubed

Steps:

  • 1. Cut one pound of steak in small cubes and fry until brown in plenty of lard. Add and brown four onions cut in small pieces. Then add an d partly brown four large potatoes, cubed. Cover with water. Bring to a boil and thicken with Larkin Corn Starch. Salt and pepper to taste. Submitted by Mrs Elsie Nelson, Ft. Dodge, Iowa.
