If mixture is a bit watery, drain some of the liquid at this point. Stir in sour cream and heat thoroughly. Serve hot as follows: For a salad meal, halve avocados and scoop in shrimp mixture. For a salad accompaniment, spoon onto lettuce and surround with slices of avocado.
