This is a great hot spread for a party or you just need a snack. The recipe calls for using rye bread (St.Pattys day I do the rye) , but I cut up bagels to put the spread on but any bread or crackers will work.

Steps:
- 1. In a small mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and sour cream until smooth. Add pastrami and green pepper; mix well. Transfer to a greased 1 quart baking dish.
- 2. Sprinkle with pecans if desired. Bake, uncovered, at 350 for 25-30 minutes or until heated through and edges are bubbly. Place bread choice item around you spread and serve.
