Hot Madrilene Soup image

Number Of Ingredients 8

1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup onion minced
2 1/2 cups tomato juice
2 teaspoons splenda
3 (10 1/2-ounce) cans beef broth
2 tablespoons parsley minced fresh
1/2 bay leaf
3/4 cup Parmesan cheese grated

Steps:

  • 1. Melt butter in a saucepan add onion, and cook until tender. Add tomato juice, splenda, broth, parsley, and bay leaf. Heat to boiling, reduce heat simmer for 15 minutes. 2. Remove bay leaf. Top with cheese and serve.
