Hot and Spicy Cabbage image

A one Pan Dinner, Love the spicy with the Ham and Cabbage, If you like less spice cut back on the onions and use a can of plain chopped tomatoes, I like to serve pineapple and cheddar cornbread with this too. Number Of Ingredients 8

2 oz center-cut smoked ham ( sliced into bite size pieces )
1/2 c chopped onions
1/2 c chopped bell pepper
olive oil cooking spray
1 can(s) chopped rotel tomatoes ( 10 oz. )
1/2 tsp sugar
4 c chopped cabbage
1/2 tsp black pepper

Steps:

  • 1. In a Large Skillet or Wok, stir fry Ham, onions and Bell Pepper in cooking spray over Medium High heat, Add Rotel Tomatoes and the sugar, turn down heat to a simmer and cook 2 or 3 minutes, then add the cabbage and Black Pepper, Simmer for 15 minutes.
