Homemade Two Cheese Mac-N-Cheese image

1 box (16 oz.) mini shells
1 Tbsp unsalted butter
1-2 Tbsp flour
1 cup heavy whipping cream
1/2 cup milk
1 Tbsp white pepper
1 pkg (8 oz.) KRAFT Sharp Cheddar, divided
1 pkg (8 oz.) KRAFT Mild Cheddar, divided
3 Tbsp bread crumbs

Steps:

  • Cook mini shells as instructed. In a separate sauce pan, melt butter, add flour and mix. Add whipping cream, milk and white pepper to rue. Stir until mixed. Add in half a bag of each cheese leaving the rest for the top.
  • In a small CorningWare add cheese sauce to mini shells. Add remaining cheese to top and sprinkle with bread crumbs. Cover with aluminum foil.
  • Bake at 350 degrees F for 30 minutes.
