HOME MADE ROOT BEER image

Plan your next cook out, and make your Root Beer ahead of time so it will be ready. Oh My Goodness there is nothing like a Root beer float with home made Root Beer. This recipe is for (Time after Time ) drinks.

Number Of Ingredients 3

3 ounce(s) bottle root beer extrect
4 pound(s) sugar
4 gallon water

Steps:

  • Combine sugar, root beer extract, and i gallon warm water in a 5 gallon tall cooler. Stir until sugar is dissolved.
  • Add 3 pounds block dry ice, this will cause the mixture to bubble. Add 2 gallons water and have a lid ready to put on container. (DO NOT ) put lid on tight.
  • Let bubble for about 1/2 hour and add the rest of the water. Boot beer will bubble about 2 hours. When bubbling has stopped, root beer is ready to drink.
  • Put in gallon plastic jugs and cap. Will keep in refrigerator for some time
