Holiday Yam Bake image

This yam bake is good anytime not just the holidays!

Number Of Ingredients 7

1---40 oz can yams
1 can(s) (8 1/2 oz.) crushed pineapple
1 c raisins (optional)
2 Tbsp light brown sugar
2 Tbsp butter or margarine, melted
3 Tbsp chopped pecans
1 c miniature marshmallows

Steps:

  • 1. Drain yams; mash well.
  • 2. Drain pineapple; reserve juice.Add juice to yams.
  • 3. Add sugar and butter; beat well.
  • 4. Stir in pineapple and pecans, and raisins is optional!
  • 5. Spray inside of 1 1/2 quart casserole dish with Pam.
  • 6. Spoon in mixture..
  • 7. Bake for 20 minutes. @ 350 degrees. Sprinkle with marshmallows. BAKE 10 minutes longer.
