Steps:
- 1. Combine cornmeal and salt. Stir in water, cool. Divide mixture into 8 portions (about 1/3 cup each). Shape each portion into a 3-inch round patty. Fry over medium heat on a well greased griddle, turning to brown both sides, about 7 minutes each side. Makes 8 hoe cakes. Serve with butter,lots of butter! yeah! YUM!
