"HERMIT CRAB" SALAD

My 7-year-old son helped me come up with this recipe. He named it "hermit crab salad" because the krab gets into the shells just like hermit crabs! He loves this salad and so does everyone else in my family!

Number Of Ingredients 9

1 pound(s) imitation krab
1/8 cup(s) dill pickle slices
1/8 cup(s) pickled jalapeno peppers (mild)
2 - celery stalks
2 - hard boiled eggs
1 can(s) sliced black olives (2.25 oz)
2 cup(s) mayonnaise
2 tablespoon(s) yellow mustard
4 cup(s) cooked and cooled shell shaped pasta

Steps:

  • Roughly chop krab and place into a large mixing bowl. Chop pickles and jalapenos very finely and place into the same bowl. Slice the celery and rough chop the eggs and add to the bowl. Drain the olives and add them to the mix. Add mayonnaise and mustard. Stir until everything is well combined.
  • Add pasta and stir until coated with krab and mayonnaise mixture. Cover and refrigerate for 45 minutes or longer. Enjoy!
