Herbed Tomato Chicken image

An easy to make, mouthwatering, delicious chicken dish that is full of flavor. Serve with rice, noodles or pasta, salad and garlic bread.

Number Of Ingredients 11

1/4 cup(s) flour
4 - boneless chicken breasts
2 tablespoon(s) olive oil
1/2 cup(s) white wine
1 tablespoon(s) chopped garlic
1 tablespoon(s) basil
2 teaspoon(s) oregano
1 can(s) (16 ounce) diced tomatoes
1 can(s) (4 ounces) mushrooms, drained
- salt and pepper to taste
- grated parmesan cheese (optional)

Steps:

  • Coat chicken with flour; shake excess.
  • In a skillet, cook chicken in hot oil over medium heat until brown.
  • Stir in remaining ingredients. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 25 minutes or until done.
  • Season with salt and pepper. Garnish with grated Parmesan cheese. Serve over noodles, rice or pasta.
