Number Of Ingredients 6

6 Tbsp butter
4 tsp dried rosemary
1/8 tsp dried basil
1 Tbsp salt
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
4 c pecan halves

Steps:

  • 1. Melt butter in a large saucepan. Add seasonings and stir. Remove from heat. Add pecans and toss to coat well. Do not break nuts.
  • 2. Arrange nuts in a single layer in jelly-roll pan. Scrape any remaining herb mixture over nuts.
  • 3. Bake in preheated 325 degree oven 10 to 12 minutes, or until well browned. Stir gently 2 or 3 times.
  • 4. Serve warm or at room temperature.
