HERBED CHEDDAR WHOLE WHEAT BISCUITS image

Number Of Ingredients 12

Dry Ingredients
1 3/4 c. Whole Wheat Flour
3/4 c. Organic Yellow Corn Meal
4 tsp Aluminum free baking powder
1 tsp Baking Soda
1 tsp Iodized Sea Salt
1/2 stick cold butter (sliced)
2 c. Grated Cheddar Cheese
1/4 c. Grated Parmesan Cheese
3 tbsp Dill weed
1 tbsp Minced garlic
1 1/3 c. Buttermilk

Steps:

  • Preheat Oven to 400 degrees F. 1.Mix dry ingredients with a whisk in a large mixing bowl. 2.Cut in butter slices with forks or pastry knife. 3.Stir in Cheeses, Dill & Garlic with a wooden spoon. 4.Slowly add buttermilk stirring just until thoroughly moistened. 5.Drop large rounded spoonfuls onto a buttered baking pan. (Use the wooden spoon) 6. Bake at 400 degrees F about 10-15 minutes or until golden brown.
