Steps:
- Combine 1 1/2 cups of the flour, the yeast, and the fines herbes.
- Heat together the water, butter or margarine, sugar, and salt just till warm (115° to 120°), stirring till butter almost melts. Add to yeast mixture.
- Beat at low speed of electric mixer for 1/2 minute, scraping bowl constantly. Beat 3 minutes at high speed.
- Stir in remaining flour. Cover; let rise till double. Stir down dough.
- Spread evening in greased 9x5x3-inch loaf pan. Cover; let rise till double.
