Steps:
- ~ Chop the onion and red bell pepper into 1/2 in dice. Heat a large pot and add ground beef, onions, and bell pepper. Saute until beef is browned and cooked through. Add the remaining ingredients and stir well. Add water to make into a thick, soupy mixture. Add more seasoning if needed. Allow to simmer for 30-45 minutes on low. Stir occasionally to prevent burning. You may need to add additional water. Season with salt and additional spices if needed. Serve hot. Freezes well.
