Hearty Beef Stew image

Once again, slow cookers prove they rock when it comes to making savory, slow-simmered beef stews. Our hearty version has sweet potatoes and golden beets.

Number Of Ingredients 13

1 lb. boneless beef top round steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
2 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and chopped
8 oz. baby carrots, peeled
8 baby golden beets, washed and halved
1 stalk celery, diced
1 cup pearl onions, peeled
4 cloves garlic, peeled
8 oz. sliced mini portobello mushrooms
3 cups beef stock
3 Tbsp. A.1. Original Sauce
1 env. dry onion soup mix
2 bay leaves

Steps:

  • Place beef in a medium size bowl, add flour and toss to combine. Pour bowl contents into slow cooker.
  • Add all remaining ingredients to slow cooker. Set slow cooker to cook for 4 to 6 hours, depending on your slow cooker settings. Remove bay leaves before serving.
