HEARTY BACON CASSEROLE image

Looks like this recipe came off the back of a box of bacon a very long time ago and I never got around to transcribing it. So here goes:

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 c sour cream
1/2 c parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp paprika
2 c elbow macaroni, cooked and drained
1 pkg (12 oz.) bacon, crisply cooked and broken into quarters
2 c soft bread crumbs
1/4 c butter, melted

Steps:

  • 1. Combine sour cream, cheese, salt and paprika in saucepan; stir in hot macaroni. Heat, covered, over low heat 5 minutes or until heated through. Stir in bacon.
  • 2. Pour mixture into 10x6" baking dish. Combine bread crumbs and butter; sprinkle evenly over top. Place under broiler for 3 to 5 minutes or until crumbs are browned.
