Healthy Homemade Meatballs image

This is a recipe my husband's mom makes. I have modified it to be lower calories than normal meatballs.

Number Of Ingredients 5

1 onion, chopped
2 slices low-calorie bread, crumbled
1/3 cup egg substitute
1 lb 90% lean ground beef
1 teaspoon italian seasoning

Steps:

  • Combine all ingredients in a bowl.
  • Form into balls.
  • Place in large skillet and cook on medium heat covered for 15 minutes.
  • Turn meatballs periodically to prevent burning.
