This is a well-balanced breakfast that I eat on a regular basis. It's low in calories, good for you, and keeps you satisfied all morning. It's also quick to throw together.

1/2 cup rolled oats, raw NOT COOKED (old fashioned preferred or steel cut)
1 1/2 tablespoons dried fruit (raisins, dried cherries, craisins)
1 tablespoon walnuts, chopped
1/2 cup skim milk or 1/2 cup light soymilk

Steps:

  • Place all ingredients in a bowl and stir.
  • Enjoy!
