Hard Sauce (used with Baked Plum Pudding) image

Number Of Ingredients 4

1/2 cup butter real
2 cups powdered sugar sifted
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 egg separated

Steps:

  • Thoroughly cream butter and confectioners' sugar together. Add vanilla and well beaten egg yolk. Beat egg white until stiff fold into the creamed mixture. Chill.
