Steps:
- 1. From the hamburger meat form into 4- 6 patties. Salt on both sides. Fry the patties till done.In a casserole dish pour the 2 cans of soup and the water- stir. Place the cooked patties in this. In the skillet you fried the meat place the onion slices and fry till tender. Remove and smother the patties with the onions. Place in oven that has been heated to 350 degrees and bake for 20 minutes or until soup bubbles. Remove and serve . The soup soaks into the meat giving it a wonderful flavor. This has been passed down for 3 generations and is fast and easy and great when you are in a hurry or low on funds!!
