HAM & CHEESE FICELLES
To make a classic Parisian Jambon-Beurre you would require salty French butter and Jambon de Paris. I propose that you buy the best quality butter and ham that you can find, and serve it on a ficelle or a mini baugette. I have a posted recipe for ficelle on this site. This is a wonderful example of simplicity at its best.

Steps:
- Slice the loaf of bread in half, then slice it lengthwise.
- Add a generous amount of soft butter to each slice, then add slices of the shaved ham.
